About The Medspa Marketing Institute
The Medspa Marketing Institute, LLC was founded by Ryan Harris and Jennifer Devlin in 2008 to help medical spa owners, dermatologists, cosmetic surgeons, and laser skin care centers (all focused on anti-aging services) to increase their revenues by providing highly effective, proven Direct Response marketing and advertising education and services.
2008 was a challenging year for the industry, and 2009 is shaping up to be even tougher – with a record setting number of medspa closures and bankruptcies. The franchise medspas are having an even tougher time as the franchise management companies seem incapable of helping medspas get more patients in the door, or helping to sell more services to existing patients. As you probably know, three of the largest franchises have gone under in recent months.
As a recession beings in the United States and Globally, there has never been a greater need for smart marketing, smart business systems, and smart owners who want to not only survive during the current economic climate, but THRIVE!
Our Team:
Co-Founder and Director Ryan Harris is a business and marketing consultant, author, professional copywriter, and an expert in direct response, Internet, and information marketing. With a background in Information Technology, he has helped numerous organizations implement large scale information systems in both the public and private sectors. As a professional copywriter and marketer, he helps organizations implement internet based lead generation systems, and creates dynamic marketing and sales materials for use in direct response campaigns to improve product sales. He is also the author of the book 30 Seconds to Prosperity.
Co-Founder and “Marketing Goddess” Jennifer Devlin has over 19 years of education and experience in the industry that defines beauty. She has trained thousands of professionals and novices alike and has worked in all capacities of the spa & cosmetic industry; Nordstrom Beauty Director, Online Beauty Advice Editor, West Coast Educator for Philosophy Cosmetics, Director of Esthetics for the luxury division of spas for Starwood Hotels Worldwide, contributing beauty writer for industry trade publications, and has toured both nationally and internationally as a freelance makeup artist for numerous prestige brand cosmetic companies.
In addition, she holds both a California and Florida Esthetic license and has been trained in the European tradition (CIDESCO). She is also a professionally trained copywriter and author. She has a passion for education, coaching, and her commitment to customer service is second to none!
Sabrina Harris of Little Raven Designs is our expert graphic design consultant. In addition to doing all of the in-house graphics work for MMI for both our products, websites, and marketing, Sabrina also acts as part of the Consulting Division and provides graphic design, layout, and general design expertise to our clients.
In addition, a team of Virtual Assistants help perform the day to day operations of Medspa Marketing Institute, and are here to support you with any needs that you may have.
